Whimsy
Camp.
One week. Five crafts. A studio full of flowers, balloons, cookies, thread, and curiosity — made just for them.
Five days, five crafts
Every day a different craft. Every day they take home everything they made.
Florals
Hand-tied posies from locally-grown blooms.
Balloons
Arches, animals, and the science of a knot.
Cookies
Royal icing, sprinkles, and a lot of licking fingers.
Nature Crafts
Pressed flowers, leaf prints, forest-floor finds.
Intro to Sewing
A needle, a thread, and a tiny pillow to take home.
Limited to 12 campers
Moments from camp
A glimpse at what a week in the studio actually looks like.
Seasonal boutique
Limited drops for the moments worth marking — made a handful of times a year.
Each arrangement is hand-designed, so blooms and colors will vary slightly — sizes and styling stay consistent. Every one is a one-of-a-kind.
Pick up at school graduation — we will reach out to coordinate.
Hi, I'm MaryJoe.
Event planner, floral designer, mom of three, and fellow craft-lover who believes every celebration deserves to be a little over the top.
A happy mashup of everything I love most.
I'm an event planner and floral designer with over a decade of experience spanning weddings, private celebrations, and high-impact corporate events in tech, where I also led ABM and demand generation marketing campaigns. A College of Charleston graduate, I launched my career planning weddings in Charleston, SC, and honed my floral craft through professional training with Jane Packer in London and Amy Osaba in Atlanta. It's a blend of international elegance and warm, Southern storytelling that shows up in everything I make.
I was raised in a big family that never met a celebration it didn't want to decorate enthusiastically, and sometimes unapologetically over the top. I've loved crafts my entire life and once dreamed of opening a bakery before flowers stole the show.
Whimsy Atlanta is the happy mashup of everything I love most: the big-group energy I thrived on in corporate events, a lifelong weakness for pretty things, and the flexibility to build something meaningful while raising three small kids. These workshops are designed for fellow craft-lovers who'd rather create alongside a like-minded community than watch yet another tutorial alone — hands-on, heart-full, and rooted in creativity, connection, and a whole lot of fun.

My quiet rules
Hands-on & heart-full.
No passive tutorials. You'll roll up your sleeves, make something real, and leave with a piece of art and a full heart.
Come as you are.
No skill required — just show up curious. Every level is welcome, and every question is a good one.
Small groups, real conversations.
Classes stay intimate on purpose. There's space to breathe, to connect, and to actually get to know the people beside you.
Let's talk.
Private bookings, questions about camp, a workshop inquiry, or just to say hi — we read every note.
